After hundreds of re-loops, bootlegs, leaks and edits of the samples we have been feed over social medias the last weeks, we finally have an official release straight from Daft Punk themselves.
This IS the track of the summer. Although we heard a ‘leak’ on Wednesday after some analyzing we decided that the first verse from Pharrell sounded a little off, as well as unmastered segments and it all around seems as though it was either a poor leak or a very skilfully crafted bootleg. The track itself is purely infectious funk that will fill you from head to toe and have you grooving in one way or another.
If this track can’t put a smile on your face then you’re not a human (funny considering the circumstances).
I think it’s safe to go ahead and declare that the Robots are back. And they have put the groove on!
The Thrillseekers feat. Stine Grove – Anywhere with you [Club mix]
The English Trance Producer/Dj The Thrillseekers is about to release an new single from his upcoming album ”ESC”. This is a vocal trance-piece sung by The Danish vocalist Stine Grove and has everything a pure vocal trance track should have; an energic intro, a vocal break and a wonderful distinct lead piano.
The tracks vocals are written by the Swedish Singer-songwriter Kristina Westin, who has released two albums of her own and one as a singer in the indie rock band Borstspindeln.
January, 2013.. Dark, cold January! Well there is hope. #Podgressive EP038 is soon here. We have been in Finland and in Norway. This time it’s time to listen to what our neighbors in Denmark has to give us. We have a couple of really talented artists that I will get to shortly but let’s turn back the time a little bit. Actually 4 years from now!
Podgressive 4 Years Aniversary
I think it was in December. Both me and Kambiz did’nt have so many gigs at the moment and I was, as I always do with my nearest artist friends, try to come up with new cool ideas. And so it was. Some how we came up with this idea. Let’s build up our names with a podcast and let’s make it the best independent edm-show ever! Here we are, 4 years later, with aprox. 4000 listeners each and every month from around the frekkin’ globe! I don’t think none of us really believed that this could get so big. Or hmm, big compared to Armin.. NO! But, for us local Swedish dj’s It’s a huge thing. Of course there has been a lot of work and loss of energy but it has been so worth it! So, as I keep saying. There would’nt be any Podgressive without listeners. So big up to you all and keep up with the feedback and let’s continue spreading the word!
We are trying our best to make this show and bejbi a better experience for you. I wish we could clone ourselves but that aint possible. We have so many good ideas but most of them are too big to make in short notice. If you have any good ideas for the show or bejbi, don’t hesitate. Contact us at info@podgressive.com or patric@bejbi.se.
January 2013
This year started with a big explosion of champagne, my last cigarette, fantastic seafood and great company! The first week was like a big hangover but then I started to grab on to some music again. I made a couple of mash-ups and got a nice gig with my mates Steve Sundheden, JP Bates and Jay van Kay. All three very talented by the decks. The gig is on the 26th January (Make sure to drop by early. My playtime is 22.00-23.30). The day after my release of this months podcast. And somewhere there it got me thinking of how many tracks I will need to get for the end of this month. I don’t want to release a podcast and play the same tunes the day after and I need to keep up with the quality. So, there has been many hours searching for the right material but I think I’m on to some real bangers now!

Podgressive EP038
As I mentioned, this is the fourth year anniversary and we have some phat ”ch00ns” for you. From Denmark, we present Daniel Kandi and Kris O Neil!! As you see, it’s a heavy line up and pretty much melodic tunes coming up. I hope that you like it! Well you know me right.. Starting up with some housyer stuff and there is some really good releases this month. Climbing towards progressive that I found on the MINIMAL section at Beatport.. What’s wrong with the categories!? Since when was progressive house minimal and progressive house SHM, Avicii, Guetta etc? Okay, what ever.. Moving on! Then I got hold to some awesome Techno beats mainly from the Drumcode label and some great demos from my friends that have come a long way since they started to collaborate. We will take a short break with our interviews this month but I think we have something really tasty for you for the February episode. So, 25th January around 12:00 CET at #Podgressive!

We first heard this tune at Luminosity Beach Festival last summer, and it sure has an summerish wibe. ”Uplifting, driving, and very much in to the point, The Arp delivers an intense journey through rough bass-frills, lush pads, ambient piano landscapes, and its namesake focal-point: the arp.” (FSOS Records)

Hi or as we say here at bejbi, Tja, tja bloggeeeen!
I’m here to try out this blogging phenomena that every body has been talking about for the last ten years. If you don’t know me, I’m Tatsumi Suzuki behind the monthly podcast, #Podgressive (remember the very important trending topic hash-tag there!). Podgressive.com and bejbi.se has been working closely since January and it has been fun and at the same time challenging to maintain a ”red line” between bejbi and the podcast.
What’s the fuzz about this blogging stuff then, Tatsumi you are a dj and a podcaster!
Well, the idea behind this is to get the listeners/subscribers (That means you!) backstage and to the production very heart of each podcast. I will share my thoughts that has been in my head during the past month, releases, djs, the production and all the work behind this show.
Summer 2012
Let’s call it a big fail! This summer has been the worst one in ages. It has been raining pretty much each and other day and the temperature has been way below normal for us in the Nordic countries. It’s depressing because of our hard, cold and dark winters. We need sun and a couple of months when we can re-charge our batteries! However, the summer usually brings us some parties and iv’e been to some. I have also been djing in Holland at the Luminosity pre-party with FSOS (Future sound of sweden) and in Finland, up north in a town called Vasa. Not to mention our own party at Slakthuset, ”Podgressive Summer Jam” together with bejbi!
This is how I create #Podgressive!
I usually listen to several podcasts and try to search the web for new tunes. When I find something interesting, I always have a note on my Macbook where I gather all the tracknames so I can get it later. It’s more or less a couple hundred tracks to scrum through every month. Belive me, it takes time to get together a decent podcast!
I’ve got some questions about my setup and to be honest, I’m confused! My left foot is standing on modern technics with multiple decs, sync, endless fx and multiple software routed together. Then on the other hand I got my right foot on the classic beatmatching and endless track searching in my dj case. I’m for the moment doing both classic CD to CD beatmatching with my two Pioneer CDJ-400’s and with my Allen & Heath XONE:4D or the mixer together with Traktor scratch. To be honest, man I don’t know! I think my dream setup would be 3 x Technics 2010 mk5 with timecoded vinyls together with a solid mixer. Allen & Heath (Xone 92) + Pioneer RMX1000 or Pioneer DJM900-Nexus. I just love the feel of vinyl. That’s where it all started for me and it would be great to bring it back but modernised and digitalised.
#Podgressive EP034
This months show will be a nice blend of house, techno, progressive and trance. We will have a very talented guest from Finland with roots in house music and also a great upcoming artist from Sweden, from the FSOS (Future Sound Of Sweden) collective.
I have been listening to pretty much techno these past weeks and dude, there are quite awesome releases in that genre at the moment! There has been some great trance releases as well, so hopefully you will like the finalized podcast that has resease on Friday 28th September at http://podgressive.com.
TOP10 – September 2012
We have come to the NEW monthly section where I have listed 10 great tunes that have been my most played tunes for the month. It doesn’t matter if some tracks has been out a while, it’s just what get’s me going right now. I hope that you will find some interesting stuff there and it goes something like this…
1. He has done it again! Eric Prydz said on his latest podcast that this tune has made the croud go absolutely mental on his gigs this summer! And I totally understand that. This tune has every element you need for a perfect summertune! As I noticed on his tracklisting, this will probably be released on the Eric Prydz alias, not as Pryda. Hopefully he will have this released soon and I’m looking forward to get this into my sets as well. ENJOY!
Don’t forget the release of #Podgressive EP034 on the 28th September (Share + Feedback = <3 ) and I will be back here with a new pre-podcast blog post 19th October!
The upcomming singer/songwriter Chase, who recently signed a record deal with FSOS Records released three teasertracks on his Soundcloud today.
It’s three whopping hot summer tunes collaborated with producers Christian Rusch, Johan Vilborg and Kim Swärd.
Chase was born and raised in the small town of Lewisburg, West Virginia located on the East Coast of the US. Since the age of 5 Chase has studied piano, and has independently played guitar for the last 3 years. Something sparked at a young age when he realized that he could combine his instrumental talents with vocals to create his own original songs. Chase has been writing, self-producing, and performing his own original work since the age of 14. Music is a passion of his, and he hopes that someday he can reach out and heal the world with his craft.
Today, April the 24:th, should have been one of the most beautiful person I’ve ever had the opportunity to meet, Patrik ”Dotér” Odén, 30:th birthday.
Unfortunately he tragically left this world, way to soon, in June 21st 2011. Anyone who met him got struck by his aura of pure love.
To honor him, his dear and close friend Mike Shiver wrote a tribute song together with the Swedish composer and singer-songwriter Iris Kjaernersted.
This is from the press release:
That Tuesday, Tuesday the 21st of June 2011, almost a year ago, is forever etched in loving memory of a great, inspiring friend who tragically past away, leaving all of us down here on earth way too early! The colorful Patrik ”Doter” Odén was a truly beloved trance and EDM enthusiast, who soon became a very dear and close friend to Mike.
To honor Patrik, his family and all of his friends, Mike started writing a tribute song together with Swedish composer/singer-songwriter Iris Kjaernested. Once the original acoustic version was ready, it was basically impossible to resist giving the song the clubby touch that was so in-tune with Patrik’s nature and fantastic taste in music.
Now the Club mixes are here and on top of that Swedish upcomer Johan Malmgren and in-house Moldavian star PM Attitude were asked to deliver their takes on ”Song For Doter”. In spirit of this tribute, the lable Captured Music also decided that a part of the sales will be directly donated to a trustworthy cancer foundation!
’We all miss you incredibly much, and we hope this tribute will spread color wherever you are!’

The Japanese newcomers Liz Ards has just released their first single.
Liz Ards is a project started in 2011, centering around Osaka-born DJ Kitten, as you may remember from the excellent exclusive set she did for bejbi.se last year.
They are set to pump genre-less dance music beats from the heart of Osaka to the rest of the world. Rainbow Laser, Liz Ards’ first single, fuses massive grooves with lustrous melodies to create a trancey-progressive track that, like it’s name suggests, will light up the dance floor.
Head over to Beatport to listen to this energic trance tune.
